Three-time PGA TOUR winner, 10 European Tour titles, four Ryder Cup appearances and a U.S. Open champion; it doesn’t get much more world-class than Graeme McDowell. The rugged Northern Irishman has been a steady force on TOUR for the last several years, and has kept his putting razor sharp with The Perfect Putter.

A Quick Look Back

It was 2010 at iconic Pebble Beach Golf Links where McDowell’s first win on U.S. soil occurred, and boy was it a big one.

Playing with Dustin Johnson in the final pairing, McDowell triumphantly overcame a three-shot deficit heading into Championship Sunday to win by a shot over France’s Gregory Havret.

Easily the biggest win of his career to date, and one he calls his biggest thrill in golf. Which is incredible considering he’s also played for three winning Ryder Cup teams (2010, 2012, 2014).

The Common Thread

What’s kept McDowell a relative threat for so long has been his ability to sink clutch putts when he needs to. When the pressure is on, McDowell knows how to dig deep, step up and rise to the occasion, whether it’s to make the cut or win the U.S. Open.

Even more impressive, so far this season, McDowell is a perfect 322 for 322 from 3 feet and in. It’s not letting those 3-footers slip by is an enormous momentum booster, and often times the difference between sweet victory and bitter defeat.

McDowell’s Pro Career

Turning professional in 2002 and finishing his first full season on the PGA TOUR in 2005, McDowell has come across countless training aids for putting. However, in his estimate, nothing comes close to what The Perfect Putter is able to deliver. In his own words, McDowell describes the perfect putter like this:

"I have never seen a piece of training equipment that so accurately allows you to set up a breaking putt, most importantly at your personal speed preference, giving you an opportunity to practice the putt with no questions on starting line or speed.”

After a decade on the biggest stage in golf, McDowell is someone who fully understands the value of practicing putting with maximum efficiency. That’s why he trusts his time, line, and stroke to The Perfect Putter.
