After spending some time grinding it out on the practice greens at your club or practice facility, have you ever thought how awesome it would be to stumble upon that super-secret putting shortcut? We’re talking about the Holy Grail that only you know and are able to replicate over and over again.

Just one “trick” that will stop you from leaving putts dreadfully short and allow you to scare the hole every time you let it roll. There in fact IS a secret, but fair warning; you’re probably not going to like what it is.

Take the Path to More Solid Putts

The Masters was a few weeks ago and, as they do every year, those greens did NOT disappoint. A windswept week at Augusta National paved the way to some incredible moments, as well as some very disastrous moments.

If you didn’t see what happened to Ernie Els on his very first hole of the tournament, click here to see for yourself, but fair warning, it’s tough to watch.

Know the Speed, Rule the Greens

What’s the one thing TOUR players hate more than anything? The dreaded double-cross is pretty miserable, but nothing they can’t sort out after a few range sessions. Shanks are obviously no fun either, but very few and far between for players of that caliber.

For our money, the most disappointed you’ll ever see a professional (or amateur, for that matter) golfer is right after leaving any putt short. Red numbers are hard enough to come by as it is.  Missing opportunities by mere inches often make the difference between claiming the win or walking away in defeat.
