Information overload is a golfer’s worst enemy. One of golf’s most famous, brilliant, and incredibly accurate quotes comes from the timeless Bobby Jones. He said:

“Competitive golf is played mainly on a five-and-a-half-inch course, the space between your ears.” 

This is not only the case for competitive golf, but easily applies to the amateur ranks as well.

With a combination of the Internet, videos, magazines and books, the information overload of juggling too many tips is just too much for today’s golfers. When these ideas start to pile up, you’ll quickly find yourself in a downward spiral of nightmare rounds of golf thanks to too much technique.
